About Dr. Brian Fick

Dr. Fick graduated from The University of Iowa Dental School in 1993, and has completed advanced training in the treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD/TMJ) as well as sleep apnea. Dr. Fick has completed advanced training with Dr. Clayton Chan, a pre-eminent authority on TMD/TMJ-related health issues and the founder of Occlusion Connections. Dr. Fick’s training in the treatment of sleep apnea/UARS through the use of dental devices has come through many sources including Dr. Jim Metz and Dr. Jeff Rouse.

Dr. Fick believes that smile design relies heavily on artistic expression and design proportion rules. He also knows the importance of staying on the cutting edge of dentistry, regularly attending continuing education forums at the Las Vegas Institute, the premiere post-graduate institute for Advanced Dental Studies.

Dr. Fick has enjoyed learning to speak Spanish over the last few years and provides care for many Spanish-speaking patients at First Choice Dental’s Park Street office. When not caring for his patients, Dr. Fick enjoys his free time with his daughters, cooking, downhill skiing and oil painting.
