Originally from Marine City, Michigan, Dr. Alex Merchant earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Oakland University before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Marquette University School of Dentistry.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Merchant enjoys spending time with family and friends, getting outdoors, reading, woodworking, and practicing jiu-jitsu. A longtime athlete who played football for 11 years, he also enjoys staying active and has completed a sprint triathlon.

Dr. Merchant enjoys building relationships with his patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident in their dental care. He values the opportunity to get to know each patient and provide thoughtful, personalized care tailored to their individual needs.
