Dr. Robert Baima earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry before completing advanced specialty training in Periodontics at the Medical College of Virginia. He continued his education at UCLA Medical Center and the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Los Angeles, pursuing advanced training in Prosthodontics, Dental Implantology, and Maxillofacial Prosthetics.

Dr. Baima is Board certified in both Periodontics and Prosthodontics, earning Diplomate status with the American Board of Periodontology and the American Board of Prosthodontics. He holds the rare distinction, only a handful of specialists in the nation have, simultaneously carrying the titles of Fellow of the American Academy of Periodontology (FAAP) and Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists (FACP). His unique combination of specialty training gives him an extensive understanding of both the surgical and restorative aspects of dentistry, particularly when treating complex cases and patients requiring dental implants.

In addition to his career in private practice, Dr. Baima has spent more than 25 years contributing to dental education. He has held academic appointments at several universities and dental schools across the country and has educated generations of dentists through teaching, mentorship, and nearly 200 lectures presented at dental meetings and seminars throughout the United States and internationally.

Dr. Baima has also contributed to the advancement of dentistry through peer-reviewed research and publications and has authored chapters in the textbook Contemporary Fixed Prosthodontics. His career reflects a longstanding commitment to clinical excellence, education, and advancing the profession of dentistry.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Baima enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
