Dr. Sami Kawas earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. He continued his education through the NYU Langone Hospitals Advanced Education in General Dentistry program and completed additional postgraduate training through the Comprehensive Implant Residency Program at Alabama Implant Education.

Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Kawas was an engineer; a background that continues to influence the way he approaches dentistry today. He appreciates the precision, planning, and problem-solving involved in complex dental care and combines that mindset with a genuine desire to help people improve their health and quality of life.

Dr. Kawas has advanced experience in dental surgery, dental implants, wisdom tooth removal, and IV sedation. He enjoys getting to know his patients, understanding what they hope to achieve, and developing solutions that help restore both oral health and function. He especially appreciates the opportunity to use advanced techniques to help patients with more complex dental needs.

A lifelong learner, Dr. Kawas remains passionate about advancing his clinical knowledge. Even outside the office, he can often be found reading medical and surgical journals and staying current on developments in dentistry and healthcare.

When he’s not immersed in dentistry, Dr. Kawas enjoys swimming, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his family.
