Dr. Dylan Handlin was born and raised in Springfield, IL, where he cultivated a passion for science, sports, and community. He played collegiate football and achieved a double major in chemistry and biological sciences at Quincy University before attending Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. During dental school, Dr. Handlin excelled academically, earning the distinction of being ranked #2 in his class. He further advanced his expertise by completing an Orthodontic residency at Saint Louis University.

Dr. Handlin was drawn to orthodontics for the unique combination of science, precision, and transformation it offers. He enjoys helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles and appreciates the opportunity to be part of a journey that can have a lasting impact on their lives.

Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Handlin enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, traveling, and experiencing live music. A true concert enthusiast, he once attended more than 20 concerts in a single summer and enjoys music across just about every genre.

Dr. Handlin also enjoys sand volleyball, hiking, and other sports, as well as exploring new places. Some of his favorite travel experiences include studying abroad in Belize and visiting Seattle.
