Originally from Traverse City, Michigan, Dr. Hannah Yancho earned her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan before continuing at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She further advanced her clinical training through a General Practice Residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. 

Dentistry has always been a familiar part of Dr. Yancho’s life. Her father has enjoyed a long career as a dentist, and her brother followed in the family tradition, serving as a dentist in the U.S. Navy before partnering with his Dad at his practice in Michigan. Growing up surrounded by the profession gave Dr. Yancho an early appreciation for dentistry and ultimately inspired her to pursue a career of her own.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Yancho enjoys spending time outdoors, catching up with friends, relaxing with a good show, and traveling. One of her most memorable adventures was a two-week trip to rural Kenya, an experience that left a lasting impression and remains one of her favorite travel memories.

In 2026, Dr. Yancho earned her Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) Fellowship (FAGD). The FAGD is one of the most prestigious designations in general dentistry, earned by fewer than 10% of all practicing general dentists in the United States.
