Originally from China, Dr. Penelope Wei moved to the United States at the age of 18. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine and continued her clinical education by completing a one-year residency following dental school.

For Dr. Wei, dentistry is a natural combination of two things she has always enjoyed: working with her hands and helping others. She appreciates the precision and problem-solving involved in dentistry and finds it especially rewarding to use those skills to improve her patients’ health and quality of life. She approaches each patient with kindness and thoughtfulness and wants them to feel informed and comfortable with their care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wei enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, watching movies, and exploring new places. She is also a fan of puzzles and escape rooms and loves the challenge of working through a problem to find the solution.
