Originally from Chicago, Dr. Syed Hassan earned his bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Illinois at Chicago before attending Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Dr. Hassan enjoys the variety and problem-solving involved in dentistry and has particular interests in oral surgery, as well as cosmetic dentistry. Whether helping a patient out of pain or enhancing the appearance of a smile, he finds it rewarding to provide solutions that can make a meaningful difference in a patient’s health, comfort, and confidence.

Drawing on his background in neuroscience, Dr. Hassan also has a special interest in helping patients who experience TMJ-related concerns, facial pain, and migraines. He enjoys looking beyond the immediate symptoms to better understand what may be contributing to a patient’s discomfort and exploring treatment options designed to improve function and quality of life.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hassan enjoys staying active, whether he’s playing sports or spending time at the gym. He also loves traveling with his family and experiencing new places and cultures, with Thailand ranking among his favorite destinations.
