Dr. Kimberly Flores-Wilson

Dr. Kim is originally from Miami, Florida. She earned her undergraduate degree from Loyola University in New Orleans and her Master of Science from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She worked as a scientist for a year before attending Marquette University School of Dentistry. She has been practicing dentistry in northern Wisconsin priori to coming to First Choice. Dr. Kim and her husband recently welcomed their first baby, Kai, and are happy to have relocated to Madison. She’s enjoying being a new mom and is excited to be part of our First Choice family.

Fun facts about Dr. Kim:

• During undergrad, Dr. Kim spent a term studying abroad in Dharamsala, India.
• She says that she was “always the weird kid who brought a toothbrush and toothpaste to school” (love that!) As a child, she always looked forward to going to the dentist and would always look at people’s teeth and mouths. When she was in high school, she looked into being a dentist and knew it would be a great fit.
• She loves to try new cuisines and is adventurous with food. When she lived in rural Wisconsin, adventurous cuisine was hard to find, so she learned to cook her favorite dishes such as Doro Wot, Tom Kha Gai, Pho, Som Tum, and Baleadas. (YUM!)
• Dr. Kim loves to plug into her creative side when she can. She is an amateur photographer and enjoys writing poetry and reading. She also likes swimming and hiking.
• Pets? Yep! She has three cats – Taj, Jai, and Rajah.
• Dr. Kim speaks Spanish and loves to travel – especially if the destination is near a beach!
