About Dr. Joe Sharkus

Dr. Sharkus is a UW alumni and a dental school graduate from the University of Minnesota’s School of Dentistry. His heart has always been in Madison and he is thrilled to be working on campus at his alma mater.

Dr. Sharkus’ patience and enthusiasm for comfort-conscious technologies and care, as well as unparalleled excellence in dentistry, makes him an ideal choice for patients of all ages with varying dental needs. With more than 25 years’ experience and advanced training in occlusion, craniofacial pain management, aesthetics, laser and comfort dentistry, Dr. Sharkus finds great satisfaction in helping patients meet their desired goals and achieving a lifetime of oral health and comfort.

When not in the office, Dr. Sharkus enjoys spending time with his three sons and two daughters hiking, kayaking, skiing and grilling the perfect steak.
