About Dr. June Mello

Dr. June Mello graduated with honors from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1988, and has received several prestigious awards, including the American College of Dentists Award, Pierre Fauchard Academy Undergraduate Certificate of Merit, American Academy of Radiology Award, Dentsply Student Clinician’s Award, Outstanding Scholar Award , and the Dean’s Leadership Award . She has been inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (Honorary Dental Society) and received the prestigious distinction of “Fellow” in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Mello is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Before joining First Choice Dental, Dr. Mello (formerly Dr. Bockenstedt) practiced in numerous dental settings. Although Dr. Mello welcomes all ages and types of patients, she finds elderly, special needs and phobic patients the most gratifying to care for.

When Dr. Mello is not practicing dentistry, she resides in Middleton with her husband and six on-the-go children. Dr. Mello also enjoys her quiet time reading, baking, or gardening.
