Dr. Sahar Edalatpour

Dr. Sahar grew up in Milwaukee and has always had strong ties to Wisconsin. She earned her undergraduate degree in Spanish from UW Madison and spent a transformative gap year working as a dental assistant and patient coordinator at a pediatric dental office in Boston. Her passion for dentistry flourished, leading her back to Milwaukee to attend Marquette University School of Dentistry. Being close to family during that time was a special bonus. After dental school, Dr. Sahar moved to Minneapolis, where she provided care at a community dental clinic for three years before deciding to return to Madison to continue her journey.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sahar has a love for travel that has taken her across the globe. Her favorite destination remains Spain, where she studied abroad in Seville during her undergrad years and hopes to return soon. Recent adventures include trips to Vietnam, Thailand, Germany, Denmark, and a surprise journey to Colombia—an unforgettable gift from her father.

Dr. Sahar enjoys spending weekends cooking and hosting friends or family, as well as exploring Madison's restaurant and café scene. Always eager for new experiences, she's open to your recommendations! When it’s time to relax, you’ll find her unwinding at a yoga class, reading, or enjoying a peaceful moment with coffee and a good show.

A fun and unique part of Dr. Sahar's story is her family's history in the restaurant business. They once owned Persian eateries in Milwaukee, with the very first named after her—Sahar Restaurant. Her youthful modeling days featured in the newspaper, posing with plates of rice and kabobs, made her feel like a local celebrity!
